Description

Warm Welcome to the MISUM Multistakeholder Workshop, Part 2

As a follow-up to the multi-stakeholder workshop held in March this year, the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (MISUM) at the Stockholm School of Economics invites you to the second of a series of multi-stakeholder workshops with the purpose of taking the dialogue on relevant and applicable sustainability research one step further.

The mission of MISUM is to strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness in sustainable markets, in part by supporting Swedish actors in their markets with both research findings and directly applicable innovative solutions. Following our ambition to produce demand driven knowledge, you and your input are very important.

As the first workshop in the series afforded a rich crop of ideas concerning the definition, nature and use of sustainable markets, a new set of questions are ripe for discussion. Focusing on the possibilities and limits of leveraging markets to sustainability ends, this second workshop asks whether addressing market failures is enough or if designing and using markets for transformative ends is necessary (or at least desirable) and, if so, feasible.
